The only gains are because of seasonal adjustements due to lower-than-normal Christmas shopping layoffs and winter construction slowdowns.<br /><br /> In fact, the non-seasonally adjusted numbers (i.e., what the actual number of people working) shows this:<br /> <br /> January 2012- Private sector -51,700<br /> February 2012- Private sector -2,400<br /> Feb. 2011- Feb. 2012- Private sector- -4,100<br /> <br /> Don't be shocked if Walker also tries to take credit for the record-warm March having companies decide to hire landscapers ahead of schedule as well.
