Walker's refusal to answer questions creates doubt in the current governor's leadership I could do an in-depth analysis, line-by-line, question-by-question look into who won the recall debate held tonight . Though it would be interesting to assess, it would miss the overall picture of who won the thing -- Tom Barrett or Scott Walker. My take on the debate in its entirety is this: Walker started out strong. Barrett needed a couple minutes to catch his footing, but he eventually caught back up to Walker. Well-before the halfway point, however, there was no question that the momentum had changed hands. Tom Barrett won this debate , and he won it handily. Boehner confuses Constitution with Declaration, and grievances within fouding document to current events

At a recent TEA Party protest in Washington DC, House Minority Leader John Boehner stood before a crowd of thousands. Encouraging him to stand against the proposed health care bill in the House ( which is now endorsed by the AARP ), he spoke of a great founding document, the U.S. Constitution . Holding his personal copy of the document in his hand, Boehner recited the Preamble to the crowd: " We hold these truths to be self-evident ," Boehner said, "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights..." Without a doubt, many TEA Party protesters at the event felt a sense of pride in hearing those words. Some, however, probably felt a bit confused. Indeed, the document that Boehner was quoting was not the Constitution -- it was the Declaration of Independence . Walker ad full of lies, distortions -- and he's hoping you fall for it

Ad attempts to cover up job losses, budget deficit and tax increases Gov. Scott Walker, perhaps anticipating that recall organizers will indeed reach the 540,208 signatures needed to initiate a challenge against him, issued a new "pro-ME!" ad that touts the "positive" aspects of his tenure thus far. Unfortunately for Walker (and really, for the entire state), the "positive" picture Walker describes is grossly exaggerated. To an observer of the ad who knows the facts, it is a frustrating minute-long diatribe that makes you want to scream "YOU'RE SO FULL OF IT!" nearly every five seconds. To someone who might not have had the time to follow the events of the past year so closely, however, the ad is very convincing, with its friendly music, images of Wisconsinites hard at work, and crowds applauding Walker for all he has done.
